COVID-19 Update

The health and well-being of our audiences, employees at The Cabbage Patch and artists are of utmost importance to us so regrettably we had to make the decision to cancel our shows on Friday 3rd April and 1st May. As things currently stand our June gig with the sensational Shappi Khorsandi is still scheduled to take place but obviously we will keep you informed of any changes nearer the time.

If like us, you are gutted to have missed out on seeing the acts from our cancelled shows then at least we can take comfort in the fact we can still enjoy their work. We were due to be joined by the hilarious Fern Brady on 1st May so we highly recommend you check out the album of her brilliant special 'Male Comedienne' on Spotify or watch the filmed version that is currently available on the streaming service Next Up Comedy. Also, keep an eye out for our scheduled gigs later in the year as we are very happy to confirm that we have managed to reschedule Fern's gig for Friday 30th October.

With regards to NextUp Comedy, we haven't received any money to endorse them but one look at their line-up of comedians will show you that they are right up our street as every act is one that we would book for a Funpackers gig. In fact there are several that we already have! Therefore, if you're craving some top stand-up we highly recommend you streaming the shows by friends of The Funpackers, Hal Cruttenden, Laura Davis, Laura Lexx, Lou Sanders, Paul F Taylor & Tony Law. NextUp Comedy has a 7 day free trial so check out these shows and see what you think. We also want to take this opportunity to highlight the work of our good friend, the awesome Hatty Ashdown who is offering lots of incredible online content via the NextUp Comedy Twitch page so please support her by checking some out.

Other friends of The Funpackers who have streaming content for you to enjoy are Shappi Khorsandi on Soho Theatre On Demand and Stu Goldsmith's iiiiiiinfinite Sofa! is broadcasting live on Twitch TV at 8pm on Mondays and Thursdays with incredible guests including Russell Howard James Acaster, Nish Kumar, Sarah Millican, Romesh Ranganathan, Suzi Ruffell & ABANDOMAN.

So there you go, hopefully that is enough content to keep you going until we are able to return and bring more of the best alternative comedy to Twickenham. Also, keep your eyes open for the odd bit of content from us coming soon which we fully expect to have the same smooth well polished professionalism as our live performances!

Take care everybody, look after yourselves and those close to you and hopefully we'll see you again soon. Love Kev, Kirk & Anthony x
